Crispy Oven Baked Chicken

No airfryer needed. A low calorie crispy chicken. Perfect to slice up in wraps, have on top of salads, or with side dishes.

Ingredients
  

  • oil spray 15-20 oil sprays
  • 4 medium chicken breasts
  • 100 g cornflakes
  • 2 tsp cayenne powder
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ground black pepper
  • salt
  • 1 large egg

Method
 

  1. Blend the cornflakes till finely crushed and add to bow. Season and mix with a little salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic granules and cayenne or chilli powder if you like a little heat.
  2. Trim and prep your chicken breasts and add them to a bowl. Season and marinate with a little salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic granules and cayenne or chilli powder if you like a little heat.
  3. Add a whisked egg to the bowl of chicken and combine.
  4. Pre heat the oven to 180°C or 350°F. Line an oven tray with baking paper.
  5. Pour out the cornflakes on a plate. Dip egg coated chicken breast in the cornflake mix both sides till it's all covered and lay it on the oven tray.
  6. Repeat till all chicken breasts are coated.
  7. Cook in the oven for 27 minutes (or till cooked).

Notes

Serve with meal of choice (in a wrap, on a salad or with vegetable sides).
