Method
- Preheat the oven to 180C (350F). Line an oven tray with a baking sheet. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken mince, breadcrumbs, cumin, pepper, salt, coriander, green chilli, garlic, and red onion.
- Shape the mixture into 10 koftas (small patties or cylindrical shapes).
- Place them on the baking sheet with a gap between each one. Spray each kofta with spray oil.
- Cook the koftas for 20 minutes, turning halfway, until fully cooked through (you can slice one in half, check the juices run clear if it is cooked or put it in the oven for a few minutes longer if needed).
- Serve hot with a side of choice and a cool dip like tzatziki.
Notes
If you don't like hot or spicy food you can replace the green finger chilli with a milder chilli or a herb like mint.
