Blueberry Compote Porridge
Blueberry Compote Porridge
A delicious creamy porridge recipe (oatmeal) – a healthy breakfast that is warming for cold mornings or great for pre workout energy. Oats are a good source of fibre and contain many vitamin and minerals along with blueberries and healthy fats from the toppings.
I used frozen blueberries to make the compote as buying frozen fruit can be more cost-effective and helps to reduce waste as well as freezing the fruit will help keep it from going bad.
If the fruits are sharp you can use a little honey or maple syrup to help add some sweetness.
