Servings: people
Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 2 tbsp sriracha
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp dark soy
- 6 tbsp water
- 2 small crushed garlic cloves
- Other Ingredients
- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 2 tbsp flour
- 225 g cooked rice
- tenderstem broccoli
- fresh coriander cilantro
- 1 spring onion
Instructions
- Prep the chicken if needed by trimming anf access fat then season with ground pepper, little salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, chilli powder. Dust over the chicken with flour till all sides are coated.
- Mix up your sauce so it’s ready (the sriracha, honey, crushed garlic, water and dark soy).
- Heat a little oil in a pan and pan fry the chicken thighs till they are cooked (around 15-20 minutes) and make sure to turn them halfway. If you are cooking rice then make it while your chicken cooks. Steam your broccoli as well.
- Once the chicken is cooked, set it aside, turn down the heat on low and pour the sauce into the same pan. Stir the sauce slowly so the garlic doesn’t burn, then after a few minutes, add your chicken and turn the heat up to medium so the sauce goes sticky and coats the chicken.
