Airfryer Harissa Chicken Burgers

Ingredients

  • 500 g 5% chicken mince Aldi
  • 2 tbsp paxo breadcrumbs
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tsp harissa paste
  • salt to taste
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • spray oil
  • dried cranberries
  • ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix the chicken mince, breadcrumbs, dried cranberries, cumin, smoked paprika, chilli powder, harissa paste, garlic, and ground pepper and salt until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into 4 burger patties.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 190°C (375°F) and line with an airfryer compatible baking sheet if needed. Place the burgers in the air fryer, spray each burger with spray oil. and cook for 18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until fully cooked.
  • Serve in a burger bun and with your choice of sides.

Notes

If you have them with a salad, garnishes like fresh mint or coriander (cilantro) taste nice sprinkled on top.
